Abstract:A language is a communicative tool of human beings. English classroom teaching is to develop students’ language knowledge and skills. It is not only information input but also output. It means that students must learn to use what they have learned in class or in real-life situations. Classroom questioning is an important teaching technique in classroom teaching. It is so important to arouse students’ interests and motivation. And it can improve teaching and learning greatly. This thesis gives some teaching techniques to improve English teaching.

摘 要:语言是人类交际的工具。作为语言知识传授的英语课堂教学,并非一种单向的信息输入。学生必须把自己感知的东西亲自去讲,亲自去写,这就决定了英语课的实践性特征。而课堂提问就是体现这一特征的重要方式之一,是启发和引导学生、提高课堂教学效果的必要环节。这不仅取决与学生的自身素质,更重要的是教师的提问技巧。本文结合实例,归纳出一些提问技巧,让教师在英语课堂提问时有所提高,同时也提高英语的学习效率。
