Abstract:Human communication includes verbal communication and nonverbal communication. People can communicate with others not only by verbal communication but also by nonverbal communication. In the international trade negotiations, both verbal communication and nonverbal communication are important. However, nonverbal communication is usually ignored by negotiators. Body language is a major part of nonverbal communication, which connects with economy and culture closely. In order to make people pay attention to the functions of facial expressions, this paper, by the method of the literature research and questionnaire research, focuses on the importance and influence of facial expressions on the international trade negotiations. Taking example by smile and proving facial expressions have positive influence on the international trade negotiations. Moreover, this dissertation emphasizes that using appropriate facial expressions can achieve the efficient communication and increase the successful rate of negotiations.

中文摘要:人与人的交流包括语言交际和非语言交际,人们不止可以用语言交流还可以用非语言交流。如果把两者放到商务谈判当中进行比较,语言交际和非语言交际同样担任着重要的角色,然而,后者的重要性往往被商务谈判者所忽视。肢体语言是非语言交际的重要组成部分,并和文化、经济活动有着紧密的联系。为了使人们重视面部表情在国际商务交际中的作用,本文通过文献法及问卷调查的方式,致力于谈论面部表情对商务谈判所起的作用及影响,以笑容为例,说明面部表情在商务谈判中有着积极的影响。并且强调在国际商务谈判过程中,谈判者合理运用面部表情可以促进有效的交流,增加谈判的成功率,使整个谈判更顺利、更愉快。
