Abstract:This paper mainly focuses on the characterization of Robert Browning’s “My Last Duchess.” He uses dramatic monologue to simulate different tones, create who have different personalities, and make lively and expressive.

摘 要:本文对著名诗人罗伯特·布朗宁的代表作《我的前公爵夫人》一诗进行人物塑造上的分析,浅谈其运用创新、独特的戏剧独白方式，模拟不同语调，情境来创造不同性格，背景的角色形象，使其生动，富有表现力。
