Abstract:Charlotte Bronte is an eminent English female novelist in the 19th Century. As a feminist, Charlotte Bronte made an indelible contribution to the development of feminism. All her works touch upon the theme of female’s strong desire to achieve independence, with Jane Eyre being the most expressive one. Jane Eyre depicted a new woman image of enduring charm. Before the publishment of Jane Eyre, rebellious female characters existed in the English literature, but it was unprecedented for such an “inferior” one as Jane Eyre, humble, plain and helpless, to fight so consciously against the deep-rooted and overwhelming patriarchalism. In the past, people conducted their research mainly on the feminism of Jane Eyre while this thesis starts from a more specific angle, aiming to analyze and generalize the heroine’s view on love and marriage tinted with feminism. The first part of this thesis gives a brief introduction of Charlotte Bronte, Jane Eyre and feminism. The second part seeks to sum up Jane Eyre’s view on love and marriage in a detailed and comprehensive way based on the original novel, namely brave love, equal love, independent love, true love and rational love. The third part is the conclusion of this thesis.

摘要:夏洛蒂·勃朗特是十九世纪著名的英国女作家。作为女权主义的倡导者，她对女权主义运动的发展做出了不可磨灭的贡献。她的作品都以女性要求独立自主的强烈愿望为主题，在《简爱》中表现得最为淋漓尽致。《简爱》塑造了一个深入人心的新女性形象。在1847年《简爱》出版之前，英国文学中虽不乏叛逆女性的形象，但像简爱那样卑微、平凡、孤苦无依的“弱势”女性如此自觉地对抗强大的父权社会，算是空前的。过去人们主要围绕《简爱》中的女权主义开展研究，本文将分析归纳女主人公简爱带有女权主义色彩的爱情婚姻观。论文第一部分将对作者夏洛蒂·勃朗特，作品《简爱》以及女权主义作简要介绍。第二部分通过对原著的解读分析，细致全面地凝练出简爱的爱情婚姻观：勇敢的爱，平等的爱，独立的爱，真实的爱与理智的爱。第三部分是结论。
