Abstract：English reading is a crucial aspect of students’ general language competence. It’s critical in students’ studies. It is necessary and essential for students to read. Reading comprehension also is a very important and difficult part in English test. Reading comprehension will affect studets’ score of test. So, master some reading skills will bebenificial for students to improve their score. This paper will introduce four skills of reading: previewing, skimming, scanning and inferring, and discuss how they will be applied in an examination. I hope those skills will help English learners improve their reading abilities.

摘要：英语阅读是学生语言学习的一项重要技能，对于学生的学习也非常重要。因此，阅读对于学生来说非常必要和重要。阅读理解在英语考试中是一个重要的部分，也是一大难点。阅读理解会影响学生考试的总分。因此，掌握一定的阅读技巧，有利于学生提高总体分数。本文主要介绍了四种阅读技巧：预览，略读，查读，研读以及这四种阅读技巧在考试中的阅读部分的运用。希望对英语学习者的阅读能力的提高能有所帮助，让学生在考试中取得好成绩。
