Abstract:Listening is considered to be one of the most difficult skills in English learning and we know that listening plays a crucial role in English learning. However, the teaching of English in China has mainly focused on the teaching of reading and writing and neglected the teaching of listening, speaking for a long period of time. Although many students can get a good mark in English test, not all of them can perform well in listening and speaking. So teachers try to find more methods to develop students’ English level. This thesis focuses on listening. The author mainly analyzes the main factors influencing the second year high school students’ listening comprehension and discusses how to develop the listening strategies to improve the ability of listening comprehension.

摘要:在英语学习中, 听力是最难掌握的语言技能之一。与此同时, 听力理解在英语学习中起着重要的促进作用。然而,长期以来,中国的英语教学过于强调读和写的技能训练,忽略听、说能力的培养。尽管不少学生考试得高分,但听、说却跟不上。因此,老师试图找更多的方法来提高学生的英语水平。本文即以英语听力理解为论题,在前人研究的基础上,找出影响高二年级学生听力理解的因素,讨论如何对学生进行策略训练,提高听力技能技巧。
