Abstract: For people who take different languages as their mother tongues, language is not the only aspect which needs to be considered in translation. Various thinking styles and culture give birth to barriers in understanding. Sometimes the understanding of each word in a sentence does not mean the understanding of the whole one. The implied meaning is something beyond language, and the deep side needs to be explored for better translation. This paper discusses the importance of the translation of implied meaning, analyzes the causes of the implied meaning, and puts forward some methods in common use for translating the implied meaning.

摘要：翻译对母语是不同语言的人们来说要考虑的不仅仅是语言的因素。多姿多彩的思维方式和文化因素给理解带来了障碍。有时我们认识句子中的每一个单词却不理解整个句子。隐含意义超出了语言本身，所以为了得到更好的译文，我们不得不深层次地挖掘。本论文探讨了隐含意义翻译的重要性，并分析隐含意义产生的原因，在此基础上提出几种常用的翻译隐含意义的方法。
