Then a literature review concerning previous researches on tourism translation and Eco-translatology is offered, and the definition and functions of tourism scenic spot signs and features of the English versions are explored. After the discussion about important concepts of Eco- translatology, a case study applying Eco-translatology to an analysis of the translation of some scenic signs in Zhenjiang City is given. In Conclusion, the author points out that in translation process more attention should be paid to the three main dimensions of tourism translation eco-environment, i.e., language, communication, and culture. The translator should make sure the translated text is grammatically right in the target language, informative in conveying the original meaning, and culturally comprehensible to the target readers. Accordingly, the translated text can be analyzed from the above-mentioned three aspects.
