Abstract
With the rapid development of China economy, the world economic exchanges between China and other countries are becoming increasingly widespread. Various trade companies and commercial enterprises developed like bamboo shoots after a spring rain. Business English plays an important role in cross-cultural communication, and plays the role of a bridge in different languages and cultures. However, the people who come from different countries with different languages will have difficulty in understanding. All kinds of cultural differences in speech communication are often the most difficult problem for translators.
This thesis analyzes the differences between Chinese and Western business English interpreting from the appellation culture, salutation culture, dinner culture, color culture, animal culture and digital culture. Finally, thesis puts forward feasible countermeasures to strengthen the understanding of cultural differences and improve the quality of business English interpreting.
