摘要:中药是中华民族五千年传统文化的瑰宝，是千百年医疗实践的结晶，也是世界优秀文化的精华。我国拥有丰富的中药材资源。中国中医科学院中药研究所统计，按来源来分类，中药资源可分为药用植物，药用动物和药用矿物3种，分别有11146种、1581种和80种。近20年来，我国中药产业获得较为快速的发展，年平均增长速度达20%以上，年销售额已突破800亿美元。
中国是药用植物最丰富的国家之一，对药用植物的发现、使用和栽培有着悠久的历史。而药用植物是指某些全部、部分或其分泌物可以入药的植物。
中药汤剂是中药临床应用最广泛的一种剂型，由于它能充分满足中医辨证施治、随证加减的需要，又具有吸收快、疗效高的优越性，故一直沿用至今。
很多中药原材料都要经过切片加工处理，制作成为中药饮片来达到用于调配或者制剂的目的。中药切片是最常见的一种制作饮片的方法。然而有些中药在加工处理的时候不能跟其他中药材共同进行加工，所以出现了各种各样有针对性的药材切片机器。因为药材的特殊性使得对这些设备的要求都相对较高，且不具有广泛性。所以根据这一情况我们可以设计制作出一种更为简单实用的药材切片机器，使一些对切出来的片状药材要求不是很高的中药材在加工过程中实现更加快速和经济，让药材生产者实现更大的收益。
在第一章中，主要介绍了设计这个药材切片机构的设计目的，另外对当前的切片机的发展进行了一定的分析，从而得出设计这个机构的意义。然后对这个机构的设计进行三种方案的选择，通过对比得出最终的一个设计方案
在第二章中，主要进行了对这个机构中的各个部件的设计、选择以及分析计算过程，其中包括对原动机的设计计算、V带传动的设计计算、一级圆柱齿轮减速器的设计计算、执行机构中刀盘的设计、挡板的设计、进出料道的设计等。
第三章中，主要是对本次设计进行总结，提出本次设计中的优点和不足之处。
