Abstract：Mark Twain is the world-renowned American literary master and a brilliant humorist. As a prolific writer, he makes a great achivements in novels and short stories. However, what makes him popular are manly his novels, in particular, his masterpiece, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and its companion volume, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mark Twain combines humour and satire together in his novels. His works are full of wits and his unique witticism, and are no lack of profound social insight and analysis. Heros in two adventures, Huck and Tom are good friends, but they have different experiences. Languages in the two novels are simple but full of humour of which the purpose is satire. To study the humour and satire can help me understand Mark Twain better. As well, it helps me to understand the view of life and world at that time, and know the social situation of the United States better.
Both Huck and Tom hate the bourgeois hypocrisy, rigid way of life. They pursue life that is full of novelty and romantic adventures. The novels can be said to be the microcosm of American society.
In Mark Twain's works, the humor and irony are inseparable, so I will combine them together to study. Humour in the two adventures is not only for joking or entertain the public. Mark Twain integrates satire into humour, and shows his ideas through the way of huomour. I will study the humour and satire through the contents, languages and the personalities of the characters.

摘要：马克·吐温是享誉世界的美国文学大师，才华横溢的幽默家。他的一生著作等生，著有大量优秀的长篇小说、短篇故事等。但让广大读者记住马克·吐温的还是他的长篇小说，尤其是他的代表作《哈克贝利·费恩历险记》和它的姐妹篇《汤姆·索亚历险记》。他的作品融幽默与讽刺一体，既富于独特的个人机智与妙语，又不乏深刻的社会洞察与剖析。两篇小说中的主人公—哈克和汤姆是好朋友，但却有着不同的社会经历。在两部历险记中，语言朴实又充满幽默，幽默中又带有讽刺。研究其中的幽默与讽刺，可以更好地了解马克·吐温当时的人生观和世界观，也能更好地了解美国当时的社会状况。
哈克和汤姆同样讨厌资产阶级虚伪、刻板的生活方式，一起追求新奇、浪漫的冒险生活。两部作品还可以说是当时美国社会的缩影。
在马克·吐温的作品中，幽默与讽刺是分不开的，是融于一体的，因此我将两者结合起来研究。作品中的幽默不仅仅是为了幽默与搞笑。马克·吐温将讽刺融于幽默当中并通过幽默来进行讽刺。本课题将从作品的内容、语言、人物的心理及性格等各方面来研究作品中所体现出的幽默与讽刺。
