ABSTRACT:Movies are of great importance to the communication of cultures of different countries throughout the world. The success of subtitle translation is also significant to the movie’s success. In recent years, the translation of subtitles of films is developing quickly, and it has its features. Qualified movie subtitle translation helps to spread cultures and promote the exchanges of cultures. According to Skopos theory, the purpose of translation determines the translation process. After comparing the official and Shooter-net translation version of subtitles of Men in Black 3 from the perspective of Skopos theory, the authors found that official version adheres to three rules of Skopos theory, and it has achieved its desired purposes. At the same time, the official version is featured with four characteristics: the use of network buzzwords, the use of Chinese four-character idioms, the use of Chinese classical verses, and literal translation of American humor. It is hoped that this paper will be of some values for the translation of film subtitles under the guidance of Skopos theory.

摘要:电影对于传播世界各国文化具有重要作用。电影字幕翻译的成功对于电影的成功具有重要作用。电影字幕的翻译正在迅速发展，而且具有其特殊性。优秀的电影字幕翻译有利于促进文化的传播交流。目的论认为翻译的目的决定翻译的过程。在目的论视角下，通过对比电影《黑衣人3》的字幕的官方和射手网译本，可以发现，官方译本基本符合目的论的三个法则，实现了它的预期目的。同时官方译本具有四方面特色：网络流行词汇、四字成语、中国古典诗词的大量运用，对美式幽默的直译。通过本文，作者认为：运用目的论指导电影字幕的翻译，有一定的价值。
