Abstract: Margret Michelle’s Gone with the Wind, describes the difficult life of a beautiful girl named Scarlett, focusing on the love story of Scarlett and Rhett, with the set in American Civil War. Scarlett’s diversified characters such as brawniness, bravery and selfishness make her one of the most impressive images in the world literature. This paper is intended to expose the diversified character of Scarlett, from active factors and her shortcomings, and analyzes the origin of Scarlett’s character from the aspect of family, love and war, so that the images of Scarlett are more vivid and the readers will make the better sense of Scarlett.

摘要：玛格丽特·米切尔的小说《飘》以19世纪60年代的美国南北战争为背景，以斯嘉丽和瑞特的爱情故事为主线描写了美丽的女孩斯嘉丽的坎坷命运。小说塑造的斯嘉丽顽强，勇敢而自私，是世界文学中最深入人心的人物形象之一。本文旨在从积极和消极两方面论述斯嘉丽的多元性格，并从家庭，爱情，战争三方面分析了斯嘉丽多元性格的成因。让斯嘉丽的形象更加生动鲜明，使读者更好的理解和把握斯嘉丽的性格特征。
