Abstract: This essay aims to investigate the English phonetics influence on English learning, and to help students master English phonetics learning skills and cultivate their learning habits of English phonetics so that they can improve their English achievement and learning ability. By making a questionnaire to research on the situation of the English phonetics learning and teaching among the second year students and teachers of the Sixth Junior High School in Yancheng. the author finds out that both students and teachers pay little attention to English phonetics learning and teaching, and students are not confident in learning English phonetics. In this essay the author tries to give some advices on the improvement of the learning skills of English phonetics and also on how to cultivate effective learning habits.

摘 要：本文旨在说明英语语音对英语学习的影响，并帮助学生掌握英语语音学习技巧和形成语音学习习惯，来提高他们的英语成绩和英语的学习能力。作者以盐城市六中初二年级的学生和教师为调查对象，做了一份问卷，发现人们并不重视英语语音的学习，学生对语音的学习也没有自信心。本研究对改进语音学习的技巧和语音学习习惯的培养给出了一些意见。作者认为要提高英语学习水平，改善英语语音学习和教学的现状，人们必须重视英语语音的学习。
