Abstract: This thesis does a research following the current situation of translation of political and economic vocabulary with Chinese characteristics and states achievements and attempts to identify relevant problems under the guidance of Eugene A. Nida’s equivalent effect translation theory. Translation methods based on the theory are presented in the ensuing part. The study aims at translating the vocabulary in clear-cut terms while holding closely on to source language, so as not to result in ambiguity or even disputes.

摘要：本文从介绍中国特色政经词汇翻译现状入手，指出已有成就，并分析其存在的问题（理解偏差、机械的中式对应和不重视文化差异）在奈达等效翻译理论的指导下，提出相应的翻译技巧（直译、意译、音译和译释并举）以弥补现在对中国特色政经词汇翻译方面的不足，尽量做到在贴合原文的基础上，力求严谨，避免因翻译不当造成歧义与争端。
