Abstract: Based on the phenomenon of non-English majors lacking positive English learning attitude, this paper is undertaken to investigate the effects of non-English majors’ attitude towards English learning. The paper, firstly, introduces the definition, characteristics and structures of attitude briefly. Then, the related theoretical framework is presented. The research design of questionnaire was employed to study the present situation of 100 non-English majors’ attitude towards English learning in Nanjing Xiao Zhuang University, and meanwhile, to explore the specific impacts of their attitude on English learning. Finally, feasible and effective strategies are put forward from the perspective of English teacher.

摘要: 本文从非英语专业学生英语态度异化这一现象出发,研究了态度对非英语专业学生英语学习的影响。本文首先简要介绍了心理学上态度的定义及其特征,构成。同时,通过对南京晓庄学院100多名非英语专业学生在英语学习态度上的调查分析,在实践层面认识态度对非英语专业学生英语学习的影响。最后,从教师角度提出有效的改善策略。
