Abstract:This paper described the ethnic discrimination and the misunderstanding that white people held misunderstanding opinions toward black people. Mark Twain used the first person vividly to describe the scene of society before the Civil War. Through the description about Huck’s experiences in life, it exposed the social contradiction in America at that time. Huck’s deep and unique understanding about the society is formed in his mind and he wanted to tell people that white people’s ideas are actually wrong; black people may have the character of kindness, cleverness, and friendship cherishing. This article described the affairs in Huck’s life and the experiences with Jim on the Mississippi river to expound Huck’s unique ideas. In this way the huge ethnic discrimination in America society is clearly revealed.

摘要:本文关注点在于马克吐温在《哈克贝利芬历险记》中所反映的种族歧视与白人社会中对黑人的误解。马克吐温以第一人称的叙事方式阐述了美国内战前社会当时的场景。通过对哈克的生活经历和成长经历的描写揭露了美国当时社会中的种族矛盾，哈克的独到的对社会深思熟虑的见解是马克吐温想告诉人们很多习以为常的对黑人的观点其实是错误的，黑人也有其善良、聪慧、珍视友情的优点，本文从哈克的生活细节以及他与吉姆在密西西比河上的经历来阐述哈克的与众不同的观点，揭露当时美国社会存在着极大的种族分歧。
