Abstract:Teaching English pronunciation is an important part of English teaching. To do well in teaching English pronunciation is the key point for beginners at the initial of studying English and the base of learning English well. Nowadays, time-consuming and inefficiency exist in teaching English pronunciation in a lot of primary schools and even high schools all over the country. It has bad effects on teaching English on one hand and also influences the students’ interest of learning English on the other hand. This study analyses the reasons of time-consuming and inefficiency in teaching English pronunciation with collecting examples and data. And this study provides some effective methods for teachers to teach English pronunciation so that the time-consuming and inefficiency phenomena could be eliminated.

摘要：英语语音教学是英语教学的重要内容，搞好语音教学是英语入门阶段的重心，是学好英语的基础。当前，我国英语语音教学存在费时低效的问题，一方面影响了英语教学效果，另一方面影响了学生学习英语的积极性。本文通过对基础教育中英语语音教学费时低效现象的实证分析，探讨了费时低效的原因，提出了一些英语语音教学的有效发方法，为中小学英语语音教学提供借鉴和帮助，逐步提高英语语音教学效率，实现省时高效。
