Abstract:Charlotte Bronte first published Jane Eyre in 1847 under the androgynous pseudonym Currer Bell. The commercially successful novel made Bronte one of the most famous British writers of the Victorian period. Jane Eyre is a distinctive figure in literature history. Her image changes the stale impression of woman in literature in people's mind. Jane is poor, obscure, plain, and little, but she has uncommon courage, strong faith, the pursuing kind of simple and pure love and independence. Jane Eyre steps through her strong will to find the balanced state in her life bravely and achieves the dreamed life and love finally.

摘要:1847年，夏洛蒂·勃朗特以中性化的笔名柯勒贝尔首次出版《简爱》。这部小说在商业上的成功使夏洛蒂勃朗特成为维多利亚时代英国最著名的作家之一。简爱在文学历史上是个独特的人物。她的形象改变了人们心目中在文学上以往的女性印象。她瘦小，贫穷，相貌平平，朴素，但是她有着非凡的勇气，坚定的信念，对爱情的执着追求以及独立自主。她通过自己的信念不断发展自己，一步步勇敢地找到自己的生活的平衡点，最后实现了梦寐以求的生活和爱情。
