Abstract:The Chinese economy keeps openning up to the world after China entered into the WTO. Globalization or intergration has been the buzzword in businese nowadays. International business negotiation, which is not only a kind of economic exchange and cooperation but also a cultural communication and exchange, has been an important part of international business activities. Globalization has successfully woven different parts of the wolrd into a dynamic entity where communication and negotiation have been playing a major role in all kinds of business transations.

   China is one of the most economically successful countries in the world. Currently, various modes of international business transactions have been strongly promoted by Chinese government in order to increase international competivesness. As a result of the increasing economic interdependence betweeen China and the United States, China has become one of the major partners of the United States. However, the huge cultural differences between the two countries may give potential cultural conflicts and unnessary misunderstandings. In view of such a stituation, this thesis makes an effort to higlight the impact of differenct thinking manners on negotiation and puts forward some solutions.

摘 要:随着中国加入世界贸易组织后,经济一体化或全球化成为当今商务领域中的关键词。跨国商务谈判以成为商务活动中必不可缺的重要环节,这不仅关系到各国间的经济交流与合作,更是各国文化之间的交流与沟通。近年来,全球化已经成功地把世界上各个地区连接成一个动态整体,沟通和谈判在各个商务领域中发挥着至关重要的作用。

   中国是世界上经济最繁荣的国家之一。目前中国为了增加国际竞争力,采取了一系列措施促进商务活动的发展。随着中美两国经济关系日趋紧密,两国经济间的往来使两国间的商务谈判随着增多。然而,由于中美两国之间存在着思维方式的差异,因为谈判者之间很可能出现文化冲突以及不必要的误解,因此本文重点讨论了思维方式的差异对谈判的影响及对此提出几点措施。
