Abstract: In the process of learning a foreign language, anxiety is the biggest barrier. This paper first discusses the definition and classification of anxiety, and then analyzes the causes of anxiety and its influence on English learners. From the perspective of instructors and students, this paper aims at finding out more practical strategies to improve language learning and teaching. Therefore, we should pay more attention to English learning anxiety in the further learning process. Only by this way, can we help students to make great process.

摘要：焦虑是外语学习中的最大障碍，尤其在英语的学习中扮演者重要的角色。本论文首先探讨了焦虑的定义及其分类，然后着重分析了焦虑产生的原因并就其对学习者的影响进行了分析。本论文从教师和学生两个角度提出了更多切实可行的方法来提高英语的教与学。因此, 在以后的学习过程中，我们需要对英语学习焦虑高度重视。只有减轻了学生的英语学习焦虑，才能够更好地帮助学生取得进步。
