Abstract: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, the well-known English writer, is a representative work of Aestheticism Literature. After giving an introduction to the author and the novel, as well as an explanation of the term aestheticism, the thesis then analyzes aestheticism reflected from the following aspects in the novel: the language features, the image-building of characters and the connotation of the novel. This thesis aims at helping readers to have a better appreciation of Wilde’s aestheticism and a deeper understanding of the theme and meaning of The Picture of Dorian Gray.

摘要：著名英国作家奥斯卡·王尔德的《道连·格雷的画像》是唯美主义文学的代表作。本文先对小说内容、作者及唯美主义作简要介绍，然后主要从以下三个方面分析该唯美主义在该小说中的体现：小说的语言特点，人物的形象塑造及文章内涵角度分析王尔德的唯美主义思想在《道连·格雷的画像》中的体现，从而体现王尔德语言的深刻优美及其深邃、富有哲理的思想内涵，使读者更好地理解唯美主义以及《道连·格雷的画像》的主题和内涵。
