Abstract:Now that Chinese elementary school students have begun to learn English earlier than before, most in third grade and some even in first grade, it is necessary for children to know the learning strategies, Learning strategies can make the learners’ learning easier, faster, more enjoyable, more self-directed, more effective, and help learners to control their own learning through organizing, planning, and evaluating. This paper relates a study of language learning strategies used by fifth grade students in Yuxi No.3 Elementary School and discusses their relationship to the students’ scores.

摘要:现今中国小学生很早便开始学习英语,大部分在小学三年级有的甚至在一年级便开始学习,所以让学生认识和了解学习策略是非常必要的。学习策略,可以使学习者的学习更方便、更快捷、更愉快、更自主、更有效;而且能帮助学习者通过组织、规划和评价来有效的控制自己的学习。本文主要是了解玉溪市第三小学学生英语学习过程中学习策略的应用情况,讨论了学习策略与学生分数之间的关系。
