Abstract:In recent five decades, autonomous learning and English reading comprehension have become two heated and important topics in the field of educational psychology at home and abroad. Autonomous learning and the improvement of reading ability stirred up a hot debate among many scholars at home and abroad. Moreover, the concept of vocabulary autonomous learning comes into consideration. In this study, we have got the information about the current status of the vocabulary learning under the autonomous learning mode through the questionnaires and tests to the senior high school students. The conclusion can be drawn that students can get an expansion of a certain vocabulary effectively through the autonomous learning mode. In addition, vocabulary self-regulated learning plays an active impact on improving reading comprehension.

摘要:在近五十年,自主学习和英语阅读理解成为了国内外教育心理学领域的两个热门的重要课题。国内外学者们就自主学习和如何提高阅读能力开展了热烈的讨论。此外,还引出了词汇自主学习概念。笔者通过对高中学生进行问卷调查及试验,了解到现今高中学生词汇自主学习现状。在本文论证了通过自主学习模式,能有效扩大一定的词汇量。此外,探讨了在词汇自主学习对提高阅读能力的积极影响。
