Abstract：As the history and culture in each country are different, the custom of etiquette in each country is also different. Such differences between China and the Unite States are more significant. If you do not understand each country’s custom of etiquette well, you may make unnecessary mistakes with the development of the society. So the education of etiquette becomes more and more popular. This article uses a lot of evidences to display the cultural differences on etiquette and analyses the causes of these differences. At last, the paper concludes that good understanding of the differences on etiquette can help us to communicate and cooperate with foreigners and build up the image of China in the world.

中文摘要：由于历史和文化在每个国家都不同，每个国家的礼仪习俗也不相同，就如中国与美国之间的不同尤为重要。如果你不能很好地掌握各国的礼仪习俗，也许会制造出一些不必要的误会。随着社会不断向前发展，礼仪的研究变得越来越大众化。这篇文章使用了大量的论据来论证人们在不同的文化之间的交流，分析引起这些不同的原因。更好的了解礼仪有助于我们与西方人的交流与合作，也有助于我们树立中国在国际上的形象。
