Abstract: Virginia Woolf is an important female writer in the history of English novel writing and among the most extraordinary representatives of English stream-of-consciousness novels. Her famous work To the Lighthouse is regarded as the most typical of her stream-of-consciousness thought. This paper focuses on the stream-of-consciousness techniques and the aesthetic expressions in this book, which reveals Woolf’s innovation in artistic forms and her contribution to English novels.

摘要: 弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫是英国小说史上的一位重要女作家,也是英国意识流小说的杰出代表之一，而其著名作品《到灯塔去》更是被公认为最能体现其意识流思想的杰出作品。本文以《到灯塔去》为文本，着重探讨该书的意识流技巧及艺术表现形式的运用，揭示伍尔夫在艺术形式上的创新及其对英国小说艺术的贡献。
