Abstract: It is unavoidable to face troubles. In order to escape adversity and achieve success, people need not only individual efforts but also multifarious inner and outer aspects. This article aims to analyze elements contributing to Robinson Crusoe’s survival in adversity. And the elements are from the following aspects: good qualities in his character, practical skills, cooperation with others and good attitude to the adversity. The article shows that morality and other personal abilities work as desirable forces in helping out those trapped in adversity.

摘要：人在任何时候都难免陷入困境。要想顺利摆脱逆境获得成功，需要的不仅仅是个人单方面的努力，更离不开多方面内部和外部因素。本文拟通过细读文本，分析鲁滨逊在逆境中生存28年的成功经验----重点突出个人良好的性格品质、实践动手能力、与他人的团结协作、面对逆境良好的心态----得出成功来自于这些因素并结合实例说明这些因素的重要性。
