Abstract:This thesis aims to investigate the viewpoints of love and marriage in Pride and Prejudice by means of making a study on the four different marriages in the book in order to inspire people to reflect on the combination of realistic marriage with the conclusion that true love is important in one happy marriage, but if there is no enough money as the foundation in one marriage, it will be not a wise and stable marriage. Finally, this paper attempts to prove to people that they should keep a rational attitude towards marriage.
Key words: marriage views; realistic marriage; ideal marriage; marriage foundation
