Abstract
This paper explains the necessity of the operation of student-centered teaching in EFL classroom on the basis of the existing theories as well as the status quo of China's English education. In order to find out how to practice student-centered teaching in EFL classroom, the author designs a case study through conducting surveys and experiments on 82 students(Experimental Group :Class 1 Grade 4 ; Control Group : Class 2 Grade 4). On the analysis of the research result, the significance and improvement of student-centered teaching are elaborated in this paper.
