Abstract
English teaching of elementary education will have certainly influence on one’s learning and development. During teaching, we should pay more attention to the training of listening and speaking. However, most of the students actually possess better reading and writing ability than listening and speaking. Obviously, this does not follow the rule of language study.
This thesis intends to do introduce the theoretical basis of listening and speaking teaching methods in primary schools, and has analyzed factors which have effected the proficiency of listening and speaking teaching. Then the thesis offers specific solutions to improve the ability of English listening and speaking. This thesis provides relative reference for the development of listening and speaking in primary schools.
