Abstract
In recent years, task-based teaching method plays an important role in the practice of English teaching in primary schools.More and more teachers and schools adopt task-based teaching method in English class.TBLT is the center of student, teacher is the guide and facilitator.It is a teaching method that combines the main body position of the students and the teacher's promotion position to complete the teaching mission.The task-based teaching method aims is that when the students' initiative and enthusiasm are mobilized, their ability to learn and communicate actively will be improved. In the task-based teaching method,it needs to change the traditional ‘Teacher centered’ and embodies the ‘student centered’, In discussing this situation, on the basis of referring to a large number of relevant literature, this paper discusses the significance, development and strategy of the task-based teaching method.
