Abstract: Bible is not only a religious classic for religions but also a great literary output. It is an all-encompassing encyclopedia, in which there are many different women in identity, social status and fate. In the Bible, these real and vague women are presented in sight lively through detail and description and exquisite techniques by writer so that readers can laugh with the women just like being in their situation. And it’s surprised to find that the sadness, happiness, confusion and wish of those women don’t disappear with time goes by, and these things are still closely related to us today. Reading Bible is good for readers’ analysis of four women in Bible. And one of them is a widow of Zarephath “a woman whose confidence could stand up to challenge”; and another one is Dinah: “a girl who comes to sin and grief as a result of the curiosity”; besides, there are also Anna: “a woman who is not beaten by the sadness.” and Eve: “the mother of all livings.” Meanwhile, the analysis of those women can help contemporary women know and realize the importance of their own and their value. What’s more, the four women can warn people nowadays something in morality and moral character. I hope that people can learn much from it.
