Abstract
With the development of social history,women’s status in the society is constantly changing and improving.In recent years,the enthusiasm of women’s right movement was unprecedented day by day,it seems to be completely reversed the role of women compared to the past.More importantly,what the role and status of women was the judging standard for the social development level.The role of women’s sacrifice at all the times and in all the countries frequently appeared in scholar’s literature works,which revels the status of women in their era,initiate the later ages to think deeply,to do comparison and to do further research about that social hot issues.Among a lot of these typical characters,who impressed and touched me the most was the little mermaid who was written by Hans Christian Anderson in his famous fairy tales.Her kindness ,innocent and lovely makes you feel comfortable.
Althoughat last she sacrifice herself for her lover,who she thinks was her true love.This spirit touched the readers age from age,at the same time,people also felt deeply sympathy and regret for her.So I decided to use this image as the leading character in my thesis research,through the analysis and comparison to do more research about the study of the present situation of the development of women’s sacrifice towards love and daily life now.
