Abstract
In the second half of the 20th century, the United States proposed American Dream. In November 29, 2012, Chinese President Xi Jinping presented the concept of Chinese Dream. Although the Chinese Dream and American Dream are both national dreams, they are different from each other. Through comparison and analysis on the Chinese Dream and American Dream, this thesis summarizes the differences between the two dreams in concrete connotations, cultural backgrounds, fundamental values, realization approaches, national prospects as well as the influence on the world, which provides people a clear interpretation. In addition, there are some effective implications which are beneficial to realize our great Chinese Dream and improve our national power and international position in the world.
