Abstract

So far, the National College Entrance Examination in China has been regarded as a standardized entrance exam for 53 years. It has become the main standard to judge a talent, which causes that the school, the society, the family and students have to pay more attention to test scores, instead of students’ comprehensive qualities. For most students, English is not their mother tongue. They are compelled to perform rote tasks of vocabulary and grammar learning, in order to get high scores in the examinations.
