Abstract: For a large number of plants used to express image in Li Sao, this study aims to investigate the translation of the plants from aspects of exegetic and literary point of view. Comparisons in terms of different versions of translation give clear analysis to the accuracy of translation and explore reasons that influence translation effect of image. According to this study, abundant plant image will be delivered to English speakers. Furthermore, the paper concludes translation of plant may help reduce interference from learners’ native language and make their language more target-like
