Abstract: This study aims to investigate China English and Chinglish from the perspective of the translation, and show the differences between China English and Chinglish in terms of their linguistic features and causes. Examples of both types of English are listed in the paper. The results show that China English is widespread and standard, while Chinglish is substandard. The paper concludes several approaches to help English learners to learn China English and to express things with Chinese characteristics in proper English. To sum up, China English should be promoted for it helps Chinese culture to spread in the world, and Chinglish should be prevented because it obstructs the communication.
