摘要：近些年，随着互联网的迅速发展与普及，日渐增多的人开始运用网络，至此，网络成为人们交流和发表意见的又一场所，也因此网络成为影响社会舆论的强大力量。本文试图以“维基解密”事件为例，用此事件依次检验“沉默螺旋”的三大命题，并以网络自身和舆论本身的特点为基础，分析探讨“沉默螺旋”在网络时代的发展和变化，显示“沉默螺旋”在网络中的适用情况。
