摘要：本课题对城市广场中的跌水瀑布进行分析与研究，从其形式美、材料美、人性美、前景美等角度，对跌水瀑布效果进行解释、概括，并对其材料进行对比，以根据不同的环境特征、功能等采用适当的跌水形式，选取合适的材料。本课题以北极飞川、成都新东大门假山广场等跌水瀑布为例，具体赏析其形式美、材料美、心灵美等，突出其在城市广场设计中的意义，肯定其合理之处，并对其存在的不足之处提出改进意见，以使瀑布跌水效果更好，更人性化。
