【摘要】同性恋是人类在各个历史时期、各种文化中的一种客观存在，不同时代、地域、文化对待同性恋现象的态度不尽相同，甚至背道而驰。作为表现媒介的一种，电影必然无法回避同性恋现象。在以异性恋文化为主导的中国社会，同性恋及其文化一直都是以一种隐形的或边缘的亚文化状态存在着。同性恋也因其性质的另类成为电影表现的禁忌从而受到遮蔽。同性恋已成为一种电影题材,不再是不可触碰的坚冰,华语同性恋电影研究也已进入了解冻时代。本文主要阐述了华语同性恋电影的发展历史，对具有代表意义的影片进行分析，研究这类题材影片的背景来源，文化内涵，反映边缘群体的精神世界以及影片的共同特点，总结当今华语同性恋电影发展的成功与不足之处，对未来该类题材电影的前景进行全面的展望。
