摘要：在经济发展、金融体制深化改革的背景下，作为金融环境的重要组成部分，银行业与我国经济健康发展有着密不可分的关联。我国银行经营趋于同质性，中小商业银行面对不同层面的竞争对手，要立足于复杂多变的环境中，提升竞争力的对于其自身的发展目标与方向有着十分深远的意义。本文通过相关企业竞争力理论及商业银行的研究现状，总结归纳，提出关于商业银行竞争力影响要素及具有针对性的个人思路；以招商银行发展状况，分析其现实竞争的能力状态、能力资源及能力机制与制度，同时基于权威性机构对于商业银行的综合实力现状的评价与年报数据，选取代表性国有银行和其他股份制银行对比分析，总结出其竞争优势及劣势；针对招商银行竞争力现状的不足之处，提出提升其竞争力的相关对策和措施。

Abstract: With the development of economic and the reform of financial system, the banking industry as an important part and the dominant of finance sector is necessary to the health of our country’s economic. While the banking industry in China is becoming more homogenous, different kinds of banks make the competitive environment more complex. So it is important to strengthen its competitiveness. This paper take China Merchants Bank as research object, scientifically analyze its competitiveness, find out the key sections which influence the competitiveness based on current theoretical study. The view is divided into three parts: state，resources and system. As well as making comparison with competitors which selected by authority and annual date, there will provide China Merchants Bank some suggestions to against its disadvantages.
