摘要：没有农民的小康就没有全国人民的小康，缺乏教育的农村将失去追赶的后劲和源泉。关注900多万农村中小学教师基本素质，是确保农村教育发展的关键。农村中小学教师基本素质主要包括政治素质、业务素质与身心素质。我将调研的目标锁定在烟台的贫困镇---莱山，通过专题调研、学校调查,加深对农村中小学教师基本素质状况的了解，形成调研报告，对发现的问题进行细致分析，提出应对的策略。使更多的人了解农村教师基本素质的状况，并希望以此引发社会上对全国900多万农村教师基本素质的重视与关注。

通过调查研究，我看到了莱山镇农村教育的变化，不论是教师的思想状况、学历还是学校的硬件设施与政策，都有了喜人的变化。但是与此同时，我们也发现了一些问题，主要存在于在政治素质、业务素质和健康状况三个方面，包括理想信念、教育思想以及教师队伍老龄化等一些问题，从而引发了我们对农村中小学教师基本素质的调查与思考，我也希望这次调查与实践能得到社会上对农村教师教育现状的关注与思考，也希望政府和教育部门出台更多的政策让这些问题得到解决。
