摘要：我国正处于社会转型阶段，经济体制和社会体制的转型在带动中国特色社会主义发展的同时也带来一系列社会矛盾。转型期的社会矛盾呈现出许多不同以往的特点，矛盾范围的扩散、利益性的突出使得矛盾更为深层化和复杂化。如何正确认识新形势下社会矛盾的演变态势进而寻求化解路径，是关系到改革发展与社会和谐的全局性工作。

“社会矛盾运动是推动社会发展的基本力量。”[8]当代中国社会，正处在全面转型时期，全面的社会转型意味着体制的变革和社会结构的变动，意味着社会资源的重新分配、利益关系的重新调整，也意味着就社会矛盾的产生。可以说社会转型是一个不断解决矛盾同时又不断产生新的矛盾和冲突的复杂过程，在这一过程中能否正确的认识矛盾、分析矛盾、及时化解矛盾，是关系到社会稳定发展的重要方面。因此，当代中国的社会矛盾问题，是党和国家始终关注的重大问题，也是社会普遍关注的一个重大问题。以上便是我对于当前中国社会矛盾问题的一些粗线的思考探索。
