材料的装饰运用是继续在建筑设计基础上的二次设计，设计师合理的选用材料并设计，从而研究出适合人类居住，使用的空间。当然，哪怕有再高端再先进的材料，也还是需要一个设计师对环境的整体意识、对颜色的搭配和对空间的形象思维等等，只有种种因素的构成才设计出一个好的作品、一个好的设计。
