摘要：进入二十一世纪以来，我国的城市化水平不断提高，城市化向郊区化推进。城市郊区化是城市发展过程中的一个必经阶段，是指城市人口、经济活动等由中心区向郊区迁移的离心扩散过程。居民的出行范围和出行距离也相应增加，加大路网上的交通强度，小汽车数量逐年提高，交通拥堵的情况日益严重。传统的公共交通工具，面临私人交通工具的激烈竞争。本文以江宁区为例，通过对比分析传统公共交通工具与轨道交通的特点，同时结合南京市江宁区城市化速度，了解江宁区房地产开发情况，分析出在南京市江宁区城市化不同时期，传统公共交通与轨道交通的所发挥的作用，以及对南京市郊区化的影响。南京市的郊区化推进与公共交通线的布局两者具有相互关系。本文研究结果和对江宁区公共交通发展的建议，对于研究南京市其他区的郊区化进程同样具有借鉴意义。

Abstract The twenty-first century, China's urbanization has improved continuously,advancing urbanization to suburbanization. Traditional public transport, facing fierce competition from private transport.
