ABSTRACT:Hallidayan Systemic-Functional Grammar is a socially oriented functional linguistic approach and one of the most influential linguistic theories in the twentieth century. This paper introduce Halliday linguistic theories’ development. Both the origin of his linguistic theory and development will be taken into consideration. The focus will be put on the development of his theories. However, the core and main part of this paper lies in the reasons of Hallidayan linguistic theories’ paradigm changes, and the exploring of the regularity of Hallidayan rationale. Through analyzing the relations and differences of Systemic Grammar and Functional Grammar, the reasons of Hallidayan linguistic paradigm changes will be got. And beginners who study Systemic-Functional Grammar and other linguists will have a better understanding of SFG. Its influence on the Linguistics region will help linguistics have a promising future.

摘要:韩礼德的系统功能语法是起源于功能语法的一种语言研究方法，也是20世纪时最有影响力的语言研究理论之一。论文介绍了韩礼德语言学理论的起源以及发展情况，论文的重点是从系统语法与功能语法的不同作用，地位以及二者的联系入手，分析韩礼德语言学研究路径嬗变的因由——外界对韩礼德功能语法的质疑和不解，以及韩礼德自身语言研究路径的发展变化，借此帮助系统功能语言学的初学者对韩礼德的语言研究路径有一个更好的理解，以及韩礼德语言研究路径的变化对未来语言学领域的发展带来的影响。
