Abstract: This paper aims at developing Senior Middle School students’ ability of oral communication with the assistance of cooperative learning strategy. It attempts to combine modern English teaching concepts with practical oral English language teaching. During the study, the paper attaches great importance to the analysis of relevant theoretical basis. In the paper, the author is focused on the description of the details of how the cooperative learning is applied to the oral activities in Junior English classes in terms of the procedures as well as the strategies. In order to make the analysis more valid, the author quotes some authentic teaching cases to support the analysis. It is pointed out that cooperative learning is in no way perfect. It does exist a lot of problems in the course of the adoption of this well-appreciated approach. With the growth of the awareness of both learners and teachers, cooperative learning is sure to bring about the efficient promotion in oral English in Junior Middle School.

摘要:本文以切实提高初中生英语口语交际能力为目标,旨在通过合作学习英语口语教学策略研究,将现代教育理念与英语口语教学实际相结合,帮助学生提高口语综合运用能力。策略研究中,笔者列举了多种合作学习的相关理论。就实施的过程和策略而言,本文作者着重介绍如何将合作学习的策略运用于初中生英语口语教学过程中。为了使分析更客观,作者选取了一些真实的教学案例来加以佐证。需要指出来的是:合作学习并非完美无缺的。在这个备受推崇的学习方法的运用实施过程中还存在很多问题。随着学习者和教师对合作学习的认识的不断提高,相信一定对加强初中生英语口语能力提高有一定的促进作用。
