Abstract:Language plays an important role in our society. Chinese-featured words are becoming increasingly important role in the study of China English. Chinese-featured words refer to those words which can express the special characteristics of some chinese things in politics and economy. It is known that the vocabulary is the most changeable part in the language. With the rapid development of the society, many new chinese-featured words may come into being. But how can they be understood and accepted by foreigners accurately in translation? This paper will introduces the reasons that how the chinese-featurd words come into being and those words’ characteristic. Some methods can be use translate chinese-featured words, including transliteration, literal translation, free translation and so on. These methods can help to understand how chinese-featured are transformed into and used in English. In addition, the paper is to show up in detail lexical gap caused by cultural differences between China and the West. Furthermore, it also offers some views on the prospect of the spread of Chinese culture-loaded in English-speaking countries.

中文摘要:语言在我们的社会中起到相当大的作用。中国特色词汇是中国英语研究中相当重要的一部分。所谓中国特色词汇指的是那些能够表达中国经济政治方面的一些比较特别的事物。词汇是语言中变化最快的一部分。随着中国社会的快速发展，我国的语言文化中出现了大量具有中国特色经济政治的词语。这些词汇又是怎样不失原味的被翻译成外语从而被外国人所接受的呢？本文将会介绍中国特色词汇形成的原因以及翻译这些词汇的一些方法，它们分别是音译、意译、直译等等。通过这些方法可使大家基本了解中国特色词汇在英语交际是怎样被转换并被使用的。另外，本文还将浅谈中国特色词汇所对应的特别的英文词汇出现的原因之一：中西文化差异造成的词汇空缺。还将提出一些关于中国特色词汇在英语国家中的传播的前景的一些看法。
