Abstract:Since the reform and opening up policy, people’s lives are affected by foreign culture in different degree. Christmas day, Valentine’s Day and Halloween are around us, while our Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-autumn Festival are not as popular as before. Reasons are as follows that lead to the situation that college students are wild about western festivals, political and economic aspect, the incomplete education of our traditional culture and the floods of advertisements in business and media. The people who are enthusiastic about western festivals，which is disadvantageous to develop our traditional culture. Confronting with this problem, many experts of our country have stated their opinions. This essay will also take a diagnosis and analyze whether college students know much about western festival when they celebrate it.
The communication between two countries will bring culture exchange and combination, college students should keep a correct attitude and value to this fact.

摘要:改革开放以后,中国与国际间的交流越来越频繁,而人们的生活也在一定程度上受到外来文化的影响。圣诞节，情人节，万圣节在中国日益受到当今大学生的追捧，反而我国的一些传统节日如端午节和中秋节却受到冷落，大学生之所以热衷于西方节日是多种原因促成的：政治经济方面，文化教育的缺陷和商业媒体的炒作。过分沉浸于西方节日对保护和传承中国传统节日文化上会产生一定的负面影响，针对这一现象，我国的很多学者也对此发表了自己的见解。本文也对当今大学生对西方节日的认识进行调查与分析，了解大学生庆祝西方节日的目的与意义。
然而，国际间的交流必然会带来文化间的交流与融合，对此，大学生在中西文化节日上应树立正确的态度和价值观。
