Abstract: This study aims to investigate some difficulties and barriers in college English reading and sum up several relatively effective reading skills used in college English learning. These effective reading skills focus on fast reading, active reading and some aids to reading. Furthermore, the paper concludes some guiding suggestion for college English learning.

摘要：本文报告了对大学英语学习中的有效阅读技巧的归纳与研究结果，旨在发现大学生阅读中存在的困难和障碍，并进一步指出可以提高的技巧和方法。笔者从有效阅读的定义着手，研究了有效阅读的基本元素，接着进一步研究了在大学英语学习中可以应用的有效阅读的方法和技巧：快速阅读，主动阅读以及阅读的辅助手段。从而对大学生英语阅读提出一些指导性意见。
